SMS Consent

When a caller asks Dear Dad's Restaurant's AI phone assistant, Holina, to send a text message, the caller is consenting to receive an SMS to the number they are calling from with the information they requested, such as reservations, ordering, directions, or menu information.
Holina sends only transactional, requested messages in this flow. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages, and we do not sell or share phone numbers collected through this interaction.
Consent is obtained verbally, from the caller, during the live phone interaction — and a text is sent only after the caller asks for one, before any SMS goes out.
How opt-in works
- A customer calls Dear Dad's Restaurant.
- During the call, the customer asks Holina to text requested information.
- Holina verbally confirms the customer wants a text sent to the caller's number.
- A transactional SMS is sent only after that request.
What this means
- The text is sent only to the phone number the caller is calling from.
- Messages are transactional — reservation, ordering, directions, or menu information the caller asked for on the call.
- There is no marketing, no recurring subscription, and no keyword or web-form sign-up in this flow.
- Phone numbers collected through this interaction are never sold or shared with third parties.
