Cookie Notice

Last updated: August 1, 2026 · Part of the Privacy Policy

We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts. That's why there's no cookie banner on this site — there is nothing to consent to. This page explains what we do store in your browser and why.

What we store, and why

The site keeps a small amount of data in your browser's local storage — not cookies — so that the demo you build doesn't vanish when you reload the page.

WhatWhyHow long
Your demo setup — website address, business name, uploaded menu text, notes, and your voice, tone, and language choices So refreshing the page, or coming back later, doesn't make you start over Until you clear it
A random session identifier Ties your browser back to the demo you were building. It is a random string — it is not derived from you and identifies no person. Until you clear it; the server-side copy expires after 7 days
Language preference (English / Español) So the site stays in the language you picked Until you clear it
Your analytics opt-out, if you set one To remember that you opted out Until you clear it

Owner dashboard

If you sign in to the owner dashboard at holina.io/dash, your browser stores a sign-in token so you stay signed in for up to 30 days. This is strictly necessary to operate the dashboard; without it you would have to re-verify your phone number on every page. Signing out removes it.

Product analytics

We count anonymous product events — such as "someone started building a demo" or "a demo was built" — to understand where people get stuck. This uses no cookies and no third-party script. The events carry the random session identifier described above, plus the event name; they carry no name, phone number, email address, or free text.

You can turn this off. Setting eib-analytics-opt-out to 1 in your browser's local storage stops the events being sent, and the site respects it from then on. Everything else on the site keeps working.

Turnstile

Pages with a "call me" or sign-up form load Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving alternative to CAPTCHA that confirms you are a person. Turnstile does not track you across websites and does not build an advertising profile. It is strictly necessary to stop automated abuse of features that place real phone calls.

What we don't do

Clearing what's stored

Clearing your browser's site data for holina.io removes everything described above. In most browsers: settings → privacy → clear browsing data → cookies and site data. Using private/incognito mode discards it when you close the window. Doing this will also discard any demo you were building.

Changes

If we ever add a cookie or a third-party script that requires consent, we will update this page and present a consent choice before setting it — defaulting to the least-collection option, with no pre-ticked boxes.
